innovaphone PBX

The innovaphone PBX is a modern PBX which, together with a gateway and terminals, forms an extensive IP based telephony solution.  The PBX essentially provides  the same features as a traditional PBX. Totally new features which would hardly be possible with traditional telephony are made possible with the innovaphone PBX thanks to the Voice over IP convergence idea used in the  innovaphone PBX concept.

Free choice of provider

The innovaphone PBX works in the protected hardware environment of the VoIP gateway, where the ISDN connections to the public network are also found. In addition the innovaphone PBX provides the possibility to connect to an IP provider using SIP protocol.  Each outside line can be configured in the following ways: individual addressing, automatic fall back switching or automatic setting using ENUM protocol. 

Compatibility

Any H.323 compatible IP phone can be used as a terminal as well as all H.323 softclients and all H.323 IP adapters which support T.38 for fax integration.  In addition all terminals which support SIP protocol can be used. An automatic protocol conversion takes place on the telephone system so that these devices are completely integrated in the PBX environment.

Redundancy Concept

A sophisticated redundancy concept ensures maximum availability. As long as a two or more innovaphone gateways are installed in the network, then it is possible for innovaphone PBX configuration data to be replicated to another gateway. In the unlikely event that the master PBX should fail, the second system automatically takes over immediately and without loss of data.

Usual telephony comfort

The PBX provides all features that are available with comparable telephony solutions. Excellent voice quality can be guaranteed even in complex scenarios. Implementation of H.450, the sub-standard of the standard H.323, enables features such as call hold, call waiting, call pick up etc. We thus guarantee future safe IP telephony and manufacturer independency. The innovaphone PBX is also easy to manage and to configure using a web browser, in the same way as our VoIP gateways. New functionalities on the PBX such as group calls, pick up function, various types of call diversion and the manager-assistant function all upgrade the innovaphone gateway solutions to a complete IP based telephone system.

Additional software over innovaphone PBX SOAP-API interface

The PBX SOAP-API is epecially interesting for system integrators and manufacturers of CTI and UMS solutions. It enables seamless integration of innovaphone products in your own product solutions thus enabling complete solutions to be offered to customers. The PBX interface based on the internet standards XML and SOAP enables eg. a central operator to be realised. Simultaneous support of Microsoft’s COM interface guarantees integration in existing application environments such as dialling out of MS Outlook.

Infinite Scalability

The number of users is practically unlimited when used in a telephone system nework. One single IP 6000 can manage upto 20,000 users dependant on configuration. Scalability of the gateway solutions enables any complex application scenario to be fitted with an IP based PBX, which can be easily extended as necessary at a later date.
