Favorite Contacts is a myApps App.
The Favorite Contacts myApps app allows to manage more than 32 contacts in groups for quick access. So communication over multiple departments, locations and with federation is quicker and more comfortable.

Functions
Favorite Contacts user app:
- list contacts of a group (with avatar picture, presence state and text)
- list groups
- call or chat to a contact
- add/edit/delete groups
- add/edit/delete contacts
- contacts presence status also for federation contacts
- possibility to set an individual display name for each contact
Favorite Contacts admin app:
- set pbx name
Licensing
Licensing: innovaphone licensing, one license per pbx system(s). Configured at the app instance object.
Prerequisites
In the myApps client a default phone and chat app and the user licensing for phoning has to be configured, when the user wants to call and chat from favorite contacts.

Configuration
With the Favorite Contacts admin app you can configure the app.
Configure the Favorite Contacts app
This is to configure in the Favorite Contacts admin app:
- the pbx name (of the pbx which should replicate the pbx user objects)
Installation
After installing the app, adding the app instance and the app object for the users and the admin, someone can start using "Favorite Contacts". The steps of the installation process are the same as described in this article "Callback - Install App from App Store" only with different names.
Brief summary of the installation
- Install the app from app store
- Create an instance of the app
- Values needed: Name ("FavoriteContacts", no blanks here please) - Domain (your platform domain) - App Password (generate one, 15 characters) - DB Password (generate one, 15 characters) - other values will be filled up automatically
- Add the user and the admin object with PbxManager app (when selecting the name, please do not use spaces.)
