Version 16: Beta 5 Awaits You with New Features

Beta 5 of version 16 was released in February - it offers some great new features! Create smart meeting minutes with AI, don‘t worry about interrupted phone calls when you are on the go, enjoy greater accessibility, and check out the latest improvements to the switchboard.

The Highlights:

Create meeting minutes in no time!
Start the transcription directly in the conference call and conveniently summarize meetings to quickly create the respective meeting minutes including future to dos. Post these results within the Connect App and edit the minutes accordingly. You decide which AI model to use.

IP270 – the myApps phone for your modern workplace
Make phone calls, access apps, transfer calls and initiate video calls: The new IP270 is your desk phone with integrated myApps. The large 7-inch touch display combines traditional telephony functions with modern apps – without requiring an additional computer. Selected partners can now test the myApps phone IP270.

Talking on the phone without interruption – also on the go
Switching from Wi-Fi to 5G? Poor reception while driving? PBX restart? No need to worry: Your calls remain active during these situations. Reconnect Calls ensures seamless transition between networks, without any interruption. This is ideal for mobile employees and for frequent travelers.

Accessible telephony
Our phone apps can now be operated entirely with screen readers and keyboards. Clear output, simple keyboard shortcuts and improved accessibility enable visualy impaired users can access our telephony solutions.

Enhancements to the Switchboard

• Create callback requests via e-mail during an active call. The e-mail contains automatically generated caller information.
• The search function now corresponds to the search function of the Softphone App and Phone App. It further provides the source of the search results.
• More detailed display of search functions and BLF (busy lamp field) entries: Retrieve information faster

Preparing for the future: ECDSA certificates
We are preparing our products for future security requirements with broad support for ECDSA certificates. Stronger encryption combined with efficient performance – we are ready for tomorrow!
