Customers within Europe can order innovaphone Rental Model hardware easily via the portal my.innovaphone. Rental fees are invoiced via the channel, i.e. resellers are charged via an innovaphone distributor and end customers are charged by an innovaphone reseller. Thus, innovaphone AG remains 100% true to its principle of indirect sales. “We thus extend our concept of giving customers maximum flexibility and freedom of choice in technical and commercial terms to our hardware components. The advantages are obvious: you don’t need to make an initial investment, you only pay for what you actually need and you are not bound by any contract periods. A company’s liquidity is spared as the operating costs are no longer capitalised costs but are recognised as OPEX.
The rental concept also contributes to sustainability: once the rental relationship ends, the customer returns the rented hardware to innovaphone where it is thoroughly tested and overhauled as part of a standardized refurbishing process in order to be used again subsequently.
