Become innovaphone Technician Connect (iT Connect)

The innovaphone Technician Connect Training lasts 2.5 days and takes place either on site (at one of the certified innovaphone training centers), online (Virtual Classroom training) or in form of a hybrid training.

Contents of this training are the configuration and administration of the innovaphone PBX and the communication platform innovaphone myApps so that participants are able to set up standard installations. After successful participation of the training, the participant is an "innovaphone Technician Connect" (iT Connect) and receives an official iT Connect certificate. This certificate permits the participation at the training module 2 (innovaphone Technician Advanced training). The innovaphone Technician Advanced training is required for more complex scenarios as well as for the support of customers with a PBX prior to V13.

Following four training options are available for the innovaphone Technician Connect Trainings.
The type of training is indicated with each listed training date.

 

"Virtual Classroom Training"

"On-Site Training"

  • In order to participate in a “Virtual Classroom Training”, you will require certain training hardware.*
  • For most efficient communication between the trainer and the participants, we also recommend using a webcam and a headset with microphone.

We will provide additional information on the preparation and set-up of your training environment in a separate e-mail which you will receive once you have registered for a training.

On-site trainings take place in form of a classroom-based training at an innovaphone development lab. Please bring your own laptop.

"Hybrid Training"

"Online Training"

Hybrid trainings take place in form of on-site trainings in the innovaphone lab. Participants also have the option to participate in this training virtually, via the Virtual Classroom. The requirements are the same as for Virtual Classrooms (stated above). If you would like to participate on site, please make sure to bring your own laptop.

Online trainings take place in form of virtual training courses. Participants use their own training equipment and study by themselves, using provided online documentation. Trainers offer support via chat and via the forum. In preparation to the online training, an introductory webinar takes place. In order to participate in an “Online Training”, you will require certain training hardware.*



iT Connect Training:

Duration

The training always lasts 2.5 days, irrespective of the training type chosen.

Target Group

This training was developed for technicians in the IT and telecommunications industry, in addition to professional PBX administrators. This training is not designed for participants from sales, pre-sales or end customer administrators.

Language

The training will take place in the language indicated with the training date. Please note: the training material and the online material will be provided in English.

Examination

The training concludes with a final exam. Successful participation of the training requires the passing of this final exam and will be the prerequisite of the participation in the iT Advanced Training.

*Please note: In exceptions, it may be possible to lend the required training hardware for the duration of the training course as an alternative to purchasing it (in agreement with the training provider).

  • Participants need to complete a preparatory online exercise
  • Workplace with OS Windows 10, a browser that is up-to-date (FF, Chrome, no Internet Explorer), in addition to e-mail and admin rights
