The Software Service Agreement (SSA) allows customers to get free updates (bug fixes) and upgrades (new versions / releases) for their software licenses to new versions that are released during the term of the agreement. Exception: New features requiring a separate license.

An SSA applies to all licenses of a project. The payment method when taking out an SSA are the Software Service Credits (SSC).

Our recommendation: To ensure that a project always uses the latest software version, we recommend concluding an Auto SSA agreement in the portal my.innovaphone before the initial activation of the licenses.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Log into the Portal my.innovaphone

Please log into the portal my.innovaphone HERE.
Please make sure that you have the required user rights to access the portal and to manage licenses.

Step 2: Select the Project

Please create a new project, if required.
Click on the tab "Licenses" and on "Create". Now, enter all relevant information.

Please note:
If it is a new project, or if the project is already / still under SSA, continue with step 3.
If this is not the case, please pay attention to following information:

The project or SSA expiry date...

  • was not more than 30 days ago!

The required SSC are automatically recalculated in simple form up to the conclusion date of the Auto SSA agreement. You do not need to do anything else.

  • was more than 30 days ago!

You will need to add the SSC manually up to the conclusion date of the Auto SSA agreement.
Please note: In this case, the SSC are calculated twice.

Step 3: Activate Auto SSA

Select the option "Add contract".

Click on "Automatic SSC Recharge and SSA extension service" and select the respective project.

Step 4: Contract & Payment

Specify the preferred payment method in the contract conclusion process and finalize the conclusion of the contract.

Step 5: Check & Finalize

We will check the contract for you. After activation, you will see that the status of the Auto SSA is set to "active" in the portal my.innovaphone.
The system will automatically extend the Auto SSA when it is due, without requiring any further action.

Additional Notifications

Support: If you wish, you can take over the activation and administration of the Auto SSAs for your customers.
SSC in the balance: If there are already SSC in the balance of the project, these will initially be used up at the end of your Auto SSA.
New or extended licences: If you would like to extend licences or add new licences, these are automatically provided with SSC up to the current SSA expiry date of the project. Either the project balance is used for this or the SSC are invoiced via the contract.
An Auto SSA is always concluded for an entire project. Only individual licences within a project cannot be placed under Auto SSA.

Agreement Period of the Auto SSA

 

Minimum Term:

  • Annual option: 12 months.
  • Full flex plan: 1 month.


Cancellation Period:

  • Annual option: 3 months before the cancellation date.
  • Full flex plan: 1 month before the cancellation date.

Alternative: A fixed cancellation date can be determined in advance.


Please Note:

  • After termination of the Auto SSA, you / your customer needs to ensure that sufficient SSC are available to extend the SSA.
  • If the Auto SSA is not terminated, the contract will be renewed automatically for
    • 12 month with the annual option.
    • 1 month with the full flex plan.
