
On June 11, 2026, the Legendenhalle at Motorworld Böblingen once again became a vibrant hub for modern communication and digital collaboration. The innovative CONNECT 2026 once more exceeded our expectations.
Nearly 1,000 registrations, 45 national and international app partners and technology partners, numerous presentations, workshops and live demos - but above all, many encounters, innovative ideas, and memorable conversations made this day an unforgettable experience.
Guided by this year’s motto, “Connecting People. Creating Productivity.” we focused on advanced technologies to connect people, teams and processes. The ever-growing myApps ecosystem took center stage, and visitors were able to experience it firsthand and try it out for themselves at the exhibition booths.
The CONNECT 2026 program was as versatile as the demands of modern work environments. Topics ranged from artificial intelligence and the new myApps Assistant to modern contact center solutions, crisis management, the Internet of Things (IoT), and communication systems for the maritime market.
Live demos, interactive workshops and key notes provided valuable insight to new technologies. We had a hands-on approach, with use cases, questions and lively discussions.

App IP brings full PBX functionality to the innovaphone App Platform as an app service. Central communication functions are provided flexibly as an application and can be seamlessly integrated into modern IT environments. The solution runs on the Docker Container App Platform, for example, and combines the App Platform and PBX in a single system (container). 219396 - Firmware: Remove deployment of *.innovaphone.com certificate with software update
The previously used innovaphone wildcard certificate is no longer required and has been removed from the software. Dedicated certifiactes are now used for each service instead. This increases security and complies with current best practices in encryption and certificate management.
219906 - PBX Support new version 16 licenses in compatibilty mode
Licenses of version 16 can be used even before the actual upgrade to version 16. This simplifies the preparation of updates and enables a gradual transition without interrupting ongoing operations.
220213 - PBX: WAN overflow from slave to master for calls to name
For calls initiated via user name or contact name, a fallback from Slave to Master is automatically triggered in the event of WAN overload. This ensures connection stability also in distributed environments, even when WAN bandwidth reaches its limits.
220233 - SIP: Limit registration load during failover
During failover, the number of simultaneous SIP registrations is limited. This prevents load peaks affecting network and systems, and ensures that large installations restart in a more stable and controllable manner.

We would like to introduce two new innovaphone apps: Buttons and Lunch. You can use and customize these apps free of charge - including the source code. This expands our ecosystem to include a new category: License-free apps with open framework to which you can add your own functions and solutions.
Turn on the lights, open doors, start machines, or trigger external systems: Buttons brings IoT devices and external interfaces directly into your myApps interface.
Ideal for smart offices, industrial environments, or individual automation—and as a basis for your own integrations.

Plan your lunch, look at the menu, pre-order a meal: The Lunch App integrates the cafeteria directly into myApps. Employees can view meal plans, pre-order a meal, and organize their lunch quickly and conveniently without having to get in touch with anyone personally.
The Buttons and Lunch App do not require a license, and they are available with source code under MIT license.

All functions are directly accessible via the participant list of the Softphone App – from starting the transcription to creating the finished meeting post, which can be edited and posted directly in the Connect App. (You can freely choose which AI models to use.)
The large 7-inch touch display combines telephony functions and apps directly on one device. Operating the phone is intuitive and user-friendly, without requiring an extra computer. The IP270 is ideal for everyone who still wants to use a conventional telephone, but with all functions of the myApps platform.
Ideal for Versatile Business Settings:Selected partners can now test the myApps phone IP270 at a 16r1 PBX.
Phone calls remain connected without interruption when network conditions change.
